You can give directly to Christ the King in the following ways:

If you have online banking you can set this up online, or you can print the standing order form and post it to your bank or parish.

Online donations and Contactless Payments

With the decline in people carrying cash and choosing to transact contactlessly we have decided to introduce an online donation system and a Contactless payment system at Christ the King. Both are provided by the same company (Dona) and interlinked. You can also gift aid your donations. You only need to register once to do this.  To make it easier we will know that you have chosen to gift aid next time you use your card. If your circumstances change please let us know and we can easily update. You may find it easier to use the online system first ie register your card and then to use the contacless  card reader when next in the church.

Please be reassurred you will be able to donate using cash and through setting up a standing order. Also we will continue to have envelopes for both gift aid and non-gift aid.

You can use this method anywhere with a suitable device connectied to the internet. This includes mobile devices and desktop devices. You can donate by clicking on the link below:

Contactless Card Readers

We now have two portable contactless card readers  on floor stands for use in the parish. These will be situated in the foyer as you enter/leave the church over the next few weeks. We are currently setting them up and getting familiar with them ourselves first.

Contactless payments have become more common.  Contactless payments are touch-free with no need to type in your PIN or hand over your card. Simply touch your card to the reader, listen for the beep, and your payment is done.

If you prefer you can also insert your card into the payment device and enter you pin to make a payment.

We have set 4 default amounts as shown below. The amount you can give is ultimately controlled by the card or device you are using to make payment.

Using the Machine

If you do not want to register your card:

1. Select Amount you wish to Give from the options on the screen
2. When the screen prompts for payment tap your card or insert your card and enter pin
3. After taking payment you will be asked if you want to Gift Aid. Please select no.

If you have  already registered your card:

1. Select Amount you wish to Give from the options on the screen
2. When the screen prompts for payment tap your card or insert your card and enter pin

To register a card:

This will take a little bit longer the first time if you want to register as we ask for some information.

1. Select Amount you wish to Give from the options on the screen
2. When the screen prompts for payment tap your card or insert your card and enter pin
3. After taking payment you will be asked if you want to Gift Aid the payment. Please select yes then the machine will ask for:
   1. First name
   2. Last name
   3. House number
   4. Post Code
   5. Email adddress
4. It will ask if you accept the T&Cs
   1. Press confirm

You will then receive an email  with subject: Thank you for your donation and Gift Aid declaration for Christ the King, Coventry”

The next you use your card it will remember that you have registered for Gift Aid and you only have to do 1 and 2 above. In addition you will receive an email with the subject “Thank you for your donation to Christ the King, Coventry”.
